As already posted it's hard to be precise, but I knocked doors earlier in the year and was getting around 2 custys per hour. A lot depends on whether the street where you are knocking already has a window cleaner in which case it's harder to find the work. The opposite applies if you get lucky where there is no window cleaner. As for leaflets, I find it a waste of time. It's too hit and miss in my opinion, knocking doors is far more productive.

Nonsense.
Really? How would you know as you've never done door knocking
Form B, I was talking from personal experience and not generalising.

Fair enough, but from my personal experience you can build a solid customer base from flyers. The main advantage flyers have over door knocking is that the customer contacts you which (I am generalising) tends to mean that they were more inclined to want a window cleaning service. As opposed to someone who (again, generalising) you have switched the charm onto and convinced that they need your service.I don't deny that you will probably pick up more quicker by knocking on doors. I just think it's silly to rule out a cheap and relatively easy alternative altogether.
black and white or glossy which do you find works best, i have been using glossy and getting calls but thinking of trying b&w. do you still post in the rain and get calls i don't like knocking as they mostly end up 1offs
