Ionic Thermo Pure for sale
« on: September 26, 2010, 05:10:13 pm »
I have for sale an  Ionic pro 5,  600 litre Thermo Pure with twin RO bought 18th  December last year so still under Ionics guarantee. Was not even used till May this year and has very little use and is virtually brand new.  The system  is capable of a  two man operation with both hot and cold pumps. There is also external ports on the side of the van so that you can operate the system with all vans doors shut.

The van is  a 54 plate white Transit 280 swb Van with just over  60,000 miles on the clock. It has had a new clutch fitted about 3,000 miles ago.  The Van is an ex Hotpoint van so has a full service history but it is due for a service soon, It has 10 months MOT and 3 months Road Tax.

Ionic systems are bolted to the chassis of the vehicle and are Crash tested. The rear of the van has been professional waterproofed at a cost of £600 by Ionics . and there is also  a Heavy duty pole rack, which holds up to four poles.

There are two 12ft Ionic  multi pole and two 28ft carbon fibre Glider poles. One Glider and one multi pole have Valkin  brush heads on them , the other two have standard Ionic brush heads on them. I also have two brand new boxed standard brush heads.

There are 2x 50 meter hot hoses both on good quality metal hose reals.

This is the perfect time to go hot for the winter, no more frozen hoses and the benifit of an Ionic system.  The cost of buying and fitting this system together with the poles etc is over £13,500 .

The reason for sale is that I have been advised by the doctor to stop window cleaning  due to the onset of arthritis and at 40 I don’t want to damaged my joints anymore than I have to.

Total price for the complete package is £12,400 with no VAT to pay.  I am reluctant to sell but the buyer will get a great system with the reliability of a Ford Transit .

Matt,

Hate to tell you this but you're asking way over the top for this.

I bought a PRO6 Thermopure system fitted into a 55 plate Silver Renault Trafic LL29  long wheel base van for £5500 about two years ago, system had only used 120,000 ltrs of water van had 70,000 miles on clock.  No poles included.  Still got van along with another two to go with it, one is a PRO5 cold water system fitted to a 54 plate Vivaro (40K miles) which I picked up for £4300 from Ireland.

Best thing I would suggest is stick it on ebay and see how it does.

Go and have a look at Auto Trader, The van is worth between £4000 and £4500, and we are talking about an Ionic Thermo Pure, Go and find out how much a new system + vat + fitting + poles etc will cost , this is as new and on my workings out this is saving of over £5000  !!!!!!!!!
But don't take my word for , check it out yourself.
