l5 water heaters for hot water

just wondering who has one and what are they like does the water come out too hot on the coldest seting just something i herd cus thinking of getting one for the winter and dont want no cracked windows thanks matt

you must check your insurance as i dont think they will be to happy about having gas bottles in your van make sure you are covered

There has been a massive thread on this before and most L5 users who checked with there insurers, it made no difference to there policy. As previously said best to check. GAS USAGE depends on the temp you set it at whether you have it on all day etc but i reckon no more than £5 for 6 to 8 hours work. hard to judge exactly cos i have never really gauged it properly.

i use hot all day, 3 1/2 days a week, and a 19kg bottle of propane lasts me about a month.
 thats about £30

There you go didnt think it was as much as £5 just over £2 a day by last post. sounds about right to me too.

 I get at least 3 weeks out of an 11kg bottle, works out about €1.60 per day for me.
