xmas Marketing
« on: September 22, 2010, 06:35:44 pm »
Has anyone else started thinking about Xmas marketing yet,  "Xmas Bookings now been taken" etc on leaflets and monthly books etc. If not when will you make a start?
Noticed the supermarkets are now stocking up
We are only 14 weeks away now :o

Mark i was just thinking the same thing a couple of hours ago. As jan & feb are poor months for me was thinking about a present with a difference idea BUY SOME ONE A CARPET CLEAN GIFT CARD
For jan or feb & get the second room half price or something along those lines :-\ :-\ :-\

no need to market for xmas we will be snowed under without any effort. what we should be marketing for is the winter slowdown.

from mid November I will be pushing for booking in jan & feb. Anyone now showing an interest if further work ( yesterday I was asked "how much would my suite cost?" ) so I told them straight..... if they are willing to wait until jan or feb they will get their living room cleaned again free of charge.

Just totted up my figures for the year so far, believing that January was the worst month, bearing in mind the snow - but turns out that Feb and March were the worst.

Agree with Mark, now is the time to start working your database or looking for commercial work for the new year.

I have been asked twice this week if I do Gift Cards for Oven Cleaning.....

I wonder how many of you out there have had success with this approach?

Colin if people are asking, why do you need to ask?

January jobs, NICE!
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

Make sure they cover only a certain travelling distance.  ;)

Colin

I was just thinking about doing the same. Particularly good for oven cleaning I think.
