trad for 24 years  started on the bottoms with 2 milk crates tied together , one pocket a wet scrim and a dry scrim . a 2 pence piece for scraping the bird muck off . £7 a morning . them were the days.  put on the tops after 6 months no spikes on the ladders , broom handles cut down for the missing rungs . i bet thats bringing back memories for a few on here.   last weeks memories for quite a few as well
