Work out what he's broke and how much its cost... Then tell him everything from this point comes out of his wages ;D

if somebody is a "klutz"  it always ends in tears .  but they are easy to spot, often have a clumsy walk or daft smile  .a klutz started work for me  but within the very first hour he had dislocated his knee !

( turns out he was prone to doing this and it didnt bother him- yet it caused me much anguish, including a few hours spent up at AandE  !  )

A 700.00 scarifier brand new, they seized as thought the other had put oil in.
Styl strimmer (800.00) left on site
pump up sprayers broken on a weekly basis.

We had a Welsh typewriter repair man who was always breaking stuff and we nicknamed him "snappy" as in always snapping things off.
It's a game of three halves!

Work for a big company and they would debit wages for damaged kit/stock. Process paper work wrong - debit. Upset a customer - debit. Well known friendly company - not.

Moving from small unit to larger one at moment. Just lined up all the kit employees have broken, horrendous!

Tax deductable and all that, but graphically goes to show they haven't had to struggle and buy the kit, its not theirs, so what, just bash the job out and get the money.

I try out new equipment on Dave to determine whether it is Dave proof.

It usually isn't.
