I always try to walk away from these situations but sometimes you just cant. I dont know if you remember one of my first FRANTIC posts here. It was about an ex-employee who had gone to work for another (new) w/c.
I wrote him a friendly letter enclosing his P45 and reminded him about his contract which stated, and I quote "
Finally we would like to remind you that the details contained within your ‘Contract of Employment’ are still current and in particular would suggest you read the clause headed ‘Confidentiality’ which states “During your employment with XXXXX XXXXor at any time after it’s termination, however arising, you will not use or disclose to any person or persons, any company related information’’. Any breach of this contract, signed on 13th January, 2005 will be taken very seriously and dealt with accordigly"
We have since discovered he has canvassed the houses local to his home and contacted 3 of my bigger commercial jobs (without success). He said it was not him so guess what - I anonomously reported his company to the police for no tax or Mot and it has been impounded for 28 days.
Out of action for 28 days !! Am I guilty NO WAY they are still getting their Dole Money !!!
