« on: September 16, 2005, 07:04:14 pm »
just got my new ro system 200gpd from ro man
the tds has started to creep up from 4 it's now on 23 from the ro unit, is this normal as i've only produced about 180 litres?

also the inline tds meter that came with the unit gives me a diffrent reading from my hand held one the inline one say's 23 and the hand held one say's 30 is one faulty or do they all read abit diffrent?

I have a 300 gpd from RO too.

Firstly did you throw away the first 10 galls of water ?

I had two different reading too but choose to take the online was as accurate and then re-test it after it goes through the DI tank with the hand held one.

We never get an out reading of below 14 but always get 000 at the brush head.

Apparently getting this level of out reading is quite normal.  Ours has not moved from 14/16 since we bought it two months ago .

Good luck its a good system and the results are good too.
