Hi All, I have just watched the News Night report and what the E.U is trying to achieve is a good idea and is basically common sense. When I first bought my WFP I used it on every house and it took ages. Not so much the cleaning of the windows but getting it out the car taking it round the back etc etc, Now I evaluate each house and work place. First is the safety, Is it safe enough to use ladders? then the speed thing, If there are loads of top windows then out comes the WFP, an example of this, I cleaned a factory in Farnham, All top windows were done using the ladder BUT there was a couple which putting a ladder up was too dangerous so I drove the van round to the windows left the trolly in it and cleaned them with the pole.So to me I think its a good idea with Safety being the key issue, they are also being very clever, They are putting the onus on the window cleaner. Thanks Paul
