I use around 650 litres for 10 house too, and thats if i am lucky!! I did 5 houses on wednesday, 3 were first cleans and used most of my water :-[ These jobs earnt me £90, So were not small, I think one is under priced slightly. I have my varistream on 6, have started rinsing on glass using a autobrush from peter fogwell (not impressed at all with it, switch is crap and bristles on brush warped in first 4 days!!!). I used to have a tap on my belt and still used the same amount rinsing off glass with a superlite and varistream on 4. I could really do with learning off someone. And to make it worse after all that rinsing and scrubbing the windows are often not 100%   :'(  Getting close to jacking it all in.

chopsie sounds like some of us are having problems.

after 3 months wfp im loving it and getting my work done in 3 and a half days compared to 5 days on the ladders including the extra windows i can clean now and the odd conny roof.

ive never used more than 300L IN A DAY.ive got over 320 customers most 4 weekly.

no not kidding, bear in mind 3 biggish jobs were first cleans so got done almost twice, So hopefully be better next time, But I just do not seem to be able to use less water, I know I must be over rinsing but am not confident in rinsing less. To make things worse I have just moved into a house with a water meter so could really do with saving water.

oh and to be exact its 635 litres, and there was probably a bit left in tank, But not enough (for me!) to do another job. I seem to be averaging £14-£16 an hour when out (that does not include filling van or paperwork etc). Trouble is my day is shorter than it could be as i use too much water.

hi chopsie i really feel for ya mate!is there nobody near you who could show you how to save more water?you must be doing something drastically wrong!

most hours worked im averaging £25-£30 an hour.sometimes as high as £60 for the odd hour here and there.

even on first cleans working 9am-8pm on my first day wfp i used no more than 300L.

ID SAY 250-300L A DAY is my normal usage on run of the mill work cleaning 20-25 three bed houses a day.i do trad the odd bottom windows and doors but all conservatories get done with the pole.

on my best day ever the other friday(£250)i used just less than 300L.a mixture of cheap houses/commercial job /a few country houses and a small fascia clean.

most windows are coming up well now im on 3rd and 4th cleans as well.

Im not being rude but i just dont understand what you are doing?

Turn the water down if your using that much. I did 5 new cleans yesterday, werent exaclty big houses but they were minging, and then carried on with normal day. only used about 250 litres.
