What a Day - Must have been cursed
« on: September 15, 2005, 07:11:28 pm »
Hi Everyone,

Well I have had such a bad day today lol

First, it has been raining here for most of the day, so I really did get soaked at times.

Started a new customer today, windows had not been cleaned in three years, half UPVC and half wooden frames. So, I set my kit up and away I went. Front done, sides done, then I ran out of water. Off I went, four mile drive home for more water. Got back on site and guess what happened next!!? Half way through the back windows and my pump packs up.

Well I thought this was really setting a bad impression to the customer lol. Knocked on their door again to explain and the little old dear apologizes that her windows where so dirty and she thinks it is her fault the pump broke, even though I tried to tell her it was not, lol.

So now I have to go back tomorrow and finish the job off. However, I think I should get a good tip on this one, plus she has already phoned some of her friend to recommend my services.

Oh well, thought I would share this with you all, so use can have a laugh, lol.

Maybe buy a squeegee for use in cases where complicated equipment lets you down again. ;)
