how to remove ink from lcokers
« on: September 06, 2010, 11:22:34 pm »
we've been asked to the graffiti/ink from a load of lockers which is proving harder then i thought. astonish gets it off all off fairly quickly but then takes a long time to wash off and you have to wait to see if it dries powdery, which isn't so great as there is quite a few.

i'm sure there must be a better product for removing ink just never had this problem before so not sure what to try.

Graffiti wipes might be the way to go.

Try Tensid  www.tensid.com not to far from you as they are in Chertsey.

If it's marker pen the best thing I have found is Siroflex Solvent Cleaner.

Last lot we bought was from: -

http://www.sigroofline.co.uk/Cleaning-Products/Solvent-Cleaner.htm

They do discounts for bulk.

The other thing we use for more stubborn marks (on smooth surfaces) is the Siroflex combined with a magic eraser or similar.
