I am new to the group and like what I see already, I am new to the window cleaning business and am sure this forum will be of great assistance to me.

Welcome aboard the great ship 'cleanitup' Terry.

I joined in July and have found the advice on this forum invaluable.  In fact I recently purchased a water fed pole system and found the other guys on her more help than the retailers.  You get a good balanced, unbiased view on most topics.

You cant beat experienced replies and some of these guys seem to have experienced most things.

One suggestion I have it to trawl through old threads as they contain lots of info from past and present members - failing that dont be worried about asking what you think is a simple question - if you dont know the answer then the its not simple is it .

this forum as done nothing but cost me money ,i have spent about £1500 on new equipment since joining ,still trying to earn it back   

there is a lot of good advice on here ,think about things and make your own mind up .and research well before you spend .

Welcome to Clean It Up.

If you've just begun shining windows, you're now experiencing the toughest phase of starting a window cleaning business.  Stick with it.  It's not easy, 'specially at the begining; but it has its good points.

As the others have said, don't worry about asking what you may consider 'bone questions'.  They're often the ones that receive the best response. I still ask them all the time and I've been here nearly as long as I've been window cleaning; which isn't very long!

And Roger is correct.  I do have three Japs eyes!  (Roger, I must've posted that months/years ago; pre-moderator days).

I didn't realise a hearse was so odd.

A pick up sounds also a perfect work vehicle.

Just chuck it in the back.

We do the same with our hearse and it ends up a dump inside where as with a pick up, it's easier to find things without having to clamber inside.

It sounds a good idea to me.

Try a squeegie.

All the body parts go into one long smear. Easy to see also.

Mop again again hey presto..

That's one thing that Traditional methods have over WFP.

We're now using WFP's and have yet to suffer body parts inhabiting our brush.
