Hi all,
Just wanted to know what you think about the method i am using and have always used for cleaning carpet.
Before i start, i mentioned this before and got slated here (; maybe people were in a bad mood.
OK here we go:
1. First off i hoover the carpet only if they need it because honestly dont feel the need to hoover unless they visibly dirty.
2. I apply my prespary through my Numatic rotary and agitate at the same time with the carpet shampoo brush.
To me this is perfectly acceptable you getting two jobs done at the same time.
I know many of you will bang on about dwell time before agitation but never found it neccessary. I feel there is enough dwell time before i rinse.
3.Then I finally rinse using my powerflite perfect heat along with my RX20 and rarely use rinse and fibre unless its a wool carpet or I am applying scotchguard or the like.
Thats about it, get paid and goodnight.
I have tried applying prespray, waiting a while then agitating with shampoo brush but found it no way as effective as doing it at the same time.
Please let me know if you think this is not as effective as the conventional way and why.
Also just another quick point to add to my rant. I have a new inline prespayer but find it useless, absolutely no power, got it from the states last year and never neeen able to use it . Anyone have similar problems??
Thanks Brendan
