how do you restore walked on vinyl to look like the unused vinyl ? some parts have gone brown with so much walking on and other parts are like new.

hi there

has it got any polish on it ?

if so strip it off, if not then get a scrubbing machine on it.

As Martin says, strip (standard speed rotary), neutralise (follow chem's guide), dry (turbo's speed things up), reseal (2 - 3 coats).

Be sure to use good quality chem's. Ideally go with something recommended by the flooring manufacturer. This will help you should any issues arise after the clean.

Floor cleaning, if not done correctly can be an accident waiting to happen.
