hi there

so basically the whole lot then, only kidding.

client details etc, i would suggest a crm program, you can then store all their details, communications, letters, emails etc, so that you have a client history, a lot of the crm systems can retriive data from the ms office suite.

costings, is a great area, i used to have an autmoated excel ss that would after inputting raw data and tick boxes, then construct the price of the quote, but would also then generate the letter, and spec to be sent to the client, i am now going down the route of developing an ipad front end, excel based system, so that i can do a survey on site, and before ive sat back down with the client i have the quote in front of me.  i need to do some work on this so that i can be using it later in the year.  the plan is then to use that method on every client visit.

you could go down the route of buying the sage software, as they do  the accounting and crm systems, which i believe can talk to each other.

dont know if any of that helps.

regards

martin

Hi guys

We maybe able to help.

I will say one thing our system probably wont do EVERTHING that you want, but if enough people want to use it, we just ad it on, no upgrades,  no software, no installation, no synchronization.

Yes and it does work on any mobile phone with touch screen, browser and access to the internet.  Yes Android and iphone and being tested on ipad.

If you do go to the site, please look at he videos on youtube, as sometimes its easier to visualise than read.

A good CRM program is ACT!

You can store all the details that Martin refers too. Its not too expensive either.

If you wanted to as well you can go Premium and access it via mobile interent.

Or if you want to do costings etc, design your own spread sheet in Excel, Add on all the things that is required and then without it sounding too simple it will give you grand total at the bottom.

Excel can work on mobile phones.

We use Act! and use Excel to have costing. Its really simple.

Excel has all the contact details on of the customer and site or number of sites.

Numbers of hours

Schedule

Task list

Number of employees

Other costings like NI, VAT, ETC Then give the total. All can be printed out and nicely displayed for customer presentation including the terms and coditions.

hi there

there is an online system myofficenet, that is an annual subscription service, that provides, email, contact history, diary, central file storage, etc ,

it is working well for us, as i can access it mobile, and from home as well as in the office, same for other members of the team.  that couped to our survey/cost/quote app, will work really well on an ipad patform.

incidentally the mac man has been very helpful, and has even sais that they will down load our stuff onto a pad, so that we can try it out to make sure that it does what we want it to do.

regards
