Is this `Oven Pride`cleaner any good ? As I understand it ya just
Put your metal sections into a bag,pour some liquid into the bag
And it vapaourises bringing the metal racks etc. up like new with
No scrubbing or manual effort at all.
I`m a window cleaner and this fella who`s windows I do has used it
And he say`s it`s fantastic.His metal racks were black and came up
Spotless,or so he said.

There are far easier, better, a lot quicker and less harmful ways.... Invest in a dip tank or sub the work out to an oven cleaner with the right equipment...

Oven Pride is purely for the DIY oven cleaner and I believe you have to keep the racks the bag for quite some time!

I agree with Colin, but I may be biased. It may clean the shelves ok but what about the rest of the oven. It can't take your door off and split it to clean properly, it won't take any internal panels and the fan off.
Probably ok for a basic diy job but can be dangerous if not treated carefully.

For what it costs it's well worth getting a professional in, after all you don't recommend windolene to your customers, do you.

Here here, I love it when landlords ring ya for a price and then decide to go with with a quick lick that most EOT cleaners do (not all, don't shout) coz they don't wanna pay the price.

We use the oven pride kits but i always stress that we only carry out a 'domestic' clean of an oven and if its really bad or they want it like new then using a professional is best.

Takes at least 24 hours to work properly though and suggest you put the bag outside as they can leak!

We do ovens and hobs for EOTS we charge £34.00 for an oven, and clean the racks as well.

We clean the oven while the racks soak in the dip tank, really easy, I dont think you need a heated one as we dont and its takes about 20 minutes to clean the racks in total 10 minutes per rack.

If you use the right chemicals it does not take long.

I use this on my oven the racks come up spotless and does a very good job on the side walls of the oven too.  However it is best left on over night.  So is great for personal use at home.

dave: do you mind saying what tank you use? i'm looking at getting one as soon as i have the money for it and would like an idea on the cost. starting to get tired of cleaning the trays by hand when the customer doesn't want the spotless (sub-contracted) clean.

Sunday morning,just this minute finished off my grills and oven.
After leaving overnight this stuff is fantastic !
Very little scrubbing with a scrubby pad to get spotless!
What do you professional oven cleaners use that’s better than this stuff?

i imagine something much quicker! dip-tank for trays and shevles, then scrapper for the glass and base, and then a good scourer for finishing touches and also astonish oven cleaner. could be wrong never seen a professional do it before
