Hi Darran,
I explained this at some length in a post in reply to James' post last night, but my posts have been deleted without warning or explanation. So, I'm reluctant to spend the time typing it all out again, as this might get deleted too.
Sorry to the guys with questions, I had replied, hope you saw the answers before they were deleted

Paul just been watching one of the videos on youtube!
And where it screws on to the brush head on one side
could it not be made with a female endscrew on the other end?
that way it would just screw on to any pole?
if you get what i mean!
this would solve the problem of having to cut poles!
as all you would need to do is drill a hole on the endscrew on the pole for the hose to go through.
cheers james

Have you been spying on our design meetings James?
Seriously, we are looking at something like this, but unfortunately not all pole ends are the same!
The other thing to be considered is the strength. I posted a reply to you about this last night, but it's been deleted, so... if you go to our website and click on the link to the blog you can read about it there.

Yep read your reply paul last night,
Looking at the video again would it not be easier just to drill a hole through the endscrew on your existing pole and feed the hose through and just slide it over would it then fit any pole?
That way you would not have cut or modifiy your pole in any way!
cheers james

James,
Yes that's fine if the screw thread is narrow enough for the Aqua-dapter to fit over. As I mentioned they're not all the same, for instance some are solid (can't be drilled theough). Some of them don't actually need drilling though, there's already a hole - which I think Darran mentioned here.
As is mentioned in our FAQs it's really down to preference and getting the best fit to make sure it's secure when you're working.
