New Home & Van System for MUSTAFA
« on: September 10, 2005, 09:34:22 pm »
Hi Everyone,

I have spent the last couple of weeks advising and helping a local window cleaner to make his own WFP system.

Below are pics of what we have done: -

Pic One: Static System 1000 lt tank 100gpd 6 stage RO Unit (just upgraded it now to 200GPD) 240 volt in line pump, for water transfer.

Pic two: - 250lt flat bed tank, held on place by 20 ton straps that are attached to steel holding sections bolted in the floor.

There you go people all set up, will be testing it all tomorrow for him.

Details of all parts can be supplied if requested.

Mustafa will be painting the mdf white, so it will look even better

Hi Craig.

Got it from B&Q 39.99, replaced the standard hose with anti kink hose. It holds about 30 meters. We chose this one, because you pull a switch at the side and it winds its self back up. This is done by expelling the water pressure, the water that is thrown out of the hose is fed straight back into the tank (look at the fifth picture).

Hope this helps

  Andrew,

Where did you get the 250l container and how much did it cost. Have been
surfing the web and best price is £140 which I think is pretty exp.

   Cheers

Hi Everyone,

The system works brilliant, we had to get rid of the hose reel because it was a pile of S**t. It rewinds using the water pressure and unless you want to hang around for ten mins for it to rewind, ur b******d, plus it leaked.

We now have a fixed connection in the main front board to connect the hoses too (will put pic up later).

DOUG,

I am not sure what Mustafa paid for his tank, but I only paid 99.98 for my 250lt that included VAT & Postage, I will hunt the details out for you tomorrow.

Very smart and really does look the business.
Wish my van could look that smart, but I have machines in and out all day long.
Whats the pump you have on there?

This is my old van, the water tank has been cut down and fibre glassed to make a 1000 litre tank. The van is an J reg VW Transorter 1900 Diesel it has done over 253000 miles and still runs like a new one.
It sometimes is nice and clean, but it doesnt take long to get dirty again.
