My Brush seems to be slowing down
The brush on my 3 Month old pole seems to be getting harder to drag across the window pain.
It’s a Vikan brush small green and red bristles oval shaped the bristles are getting a bit frayed and split at the ends.
I don’t notice it so much when cleaning the downstairs windows but when the poles fully extended I can feel it drag which means I pull harder then I cant stop it from hitting the side of the frame.
I have an older pole that I brought second hand that’s been round the clock a few times its too big and heavy to use all the time but despite the brush been older much older it’s a lot easer to use no dragging even at greater heights.
Any body else noticed this?
Dose any body know the differences between the different brushes on the market.
Thanks Kev

My vikan's like Matt's - six months old, a bit battered but doesn't "feel" any different - could the water flow rate have changed for any reason?

I don't know but could it be that after three months the glass is just cleaner and that comes across to you as more drag.
Soap or detergent residue is basically a lubricant because it breaks down the surface tension
