hose reel

has anyone who uses one of those green plastic hose reels had a problem with the screw attatchment in the middle, where the hose connects, comming off. is there a way of fixing it in place?

is it a cheap reel? I have just found that you need to buy a better quality one if it is being used all the time

could you recomend one thats not silly money, needs to carry 80m 6mm micro bore and to be lifted in and out of a belingo van ?

first one looks a bit on the tall side, the second one looks better but the price is a bit high, i will have to shop around, thanks for the info much appriciated.

i use a gardena reel no problems so far and no leaks.i used a hozelock one and was leaking quite bad

Go for the heavy duty metal reel, these take a lot of punishment so a cheapo thing will just
be aggro and need replacing sooner.

if it is like new after 18 months your obviously being careful with it.
I tend to throw mine around a bit, thats why I have gone over to metal reels

see what you mean.... mines bolted to the floor at the back doors, never moves.
got to be careful when reeling in, that you dont give it to much 'torque'.
