Using backpack bottom end as van mount
« on: August 04, 2010, 07:55:49 pm »
I'm thinking of using the  wcw backpack bottom end (70 psi pump and normal 12 v backpack battery) as van mount, running from the tank in my van.
I wondered if the Pump/battery combo would cope with a one man 100 mt hose operation.
Has anyone tried it?
If the battery won't cope, which one would be best?
Thanks in advance for any tips.

In my experience those pumps don't last very long pumping through 100m of 6mm hose, but it could be that I worked them too hard. ;D
I can remember when waking up stiff in the morning was a good thing.

Was the pump not powerful enough to give a decent flow?

Hi Sensai
Do you get a decent flow through 100mt hose with the shurflo?
