iv been asked to go and quote my first big hotel hoping to get it as it will be a nice job for portfolio and bring in a nice return

as i say i need some tips and hints how to get it
what frequency do hotels tend to go for??
how much per window would people charge on average??
what questions would people be asking to sound more professional??
any extras i could offer to for them to choose me?

any help would be appreciated thanks

no i dont do any work over there its not huge a 100 room hotel i think but its a nice one

Easiest way to sort out your quotes mate, look at the job forget how many windows how high how awkward just step back and think how long it will take me to do it, and put in an hourly quote your happy to be working for, keep it simple because thats all it is

i know i can work out how long houses take me etc but when it comes to commercial not mastered it yet iv done primary schools that i think will take us all day n we have blitzed them, what do people do say u sent 2 lads working and it took 5 hours for outs only what price would you charge for commercial domestics £30 an hour is a nice price what price for commercial for 2 lads on the job

when I price up large commercial my rate per window drops by about 50% as it really is that much quicker to do when you dont have to move from the one location, I probably would go that low for internal though and find out how that is going to work with guests etc as that could be real pain, also time of day for external as they wont want guest being disturbed early morning and if parking is a problem etc

ye he was just making sure that my price was as good as i said it was, i charged him £10 for the outside and £15 for the inside . reckon ill have it finished in 30 minutes, ive got one of those magic pole things

Anyway back to topic, richy price it up on time mate and make sure you have the poles and equipment to clean it properly, give them the full speel about risk assessments and method statements as well mate cos they love this sort of stuff (if you need any help with these give me a bell, gav has my number)
