i only collect of a certain area now, the others either pay on the day or send a cheque, BUT i still collect from this area as its not far away and they are a nice enough bunch

just got back from collecting from the last 2 weeks so i am rich for a while now

just been asked if i do houses in a certain area ??

i dont, so i told them, if she can get me a few others in the street i will do them (only about 5 mins from my area anyways)

she says "oh its not my house, Im a cleaner for a few in this private lane"

private lane i think, these will be fair size houses

turns out to be 6 bed houses rising to a country house that has 12 bedrooms

Funny how things work like that sometimes isn't it?

To begin with years a few short years ago we struggled to get work and often we did jobs cheaply because that was all we had.

Last month we were asked to give a quote down a very very plush road. The lady declined but then 2 nights latter a neighbour of theirs phoned us for a quote having got the number from our van (hearse).

We quoted a high price based on the fact he wanted a really pucker job. He then added £30 to ensure he got the job he wanted done. This was also a huge place.

Within a week we had 4 other jobs in the same road. (road??? - it's not a road - it's a monument to wealth)

Good luck mate. It feels good don't it. I love that inner glow when it all happens.

the 2 jobs near weymouth were only because the guy was off work, i hadnt seen him in years 

talking of that job, they have given me a outside shed type of building, so i can store a water tank and RO on site
