just a quick question can anyone suggest a good carpet and upholstery course please ??

I went on the IICRC traing at alltec royston herts .
paul pearce did the training.
A very good two day course and at no time were we given any sales pitch by alltec.

I dont think you can beat the Prochem 2 day course

One thing to consider is if you want to join the NCCA at a later date, they will only recognise their training or a IICRC qualification

One thing I find Strange about ALLTEC as the leading Marketing Trainer and Equipment provider ? is that they put their telephone Number in small print.

opting to take the two day iicrc course at alltec was the best thing i have done, i recommend it to any new starter and exp cleaners, i have just started but when i did the course the some of the people there had been in the game many years. Its not easy due to the fact that they cover as much as possible in the two days to help with the optional exam at the end which is about 25 quid extra.

   In my view paul pierce was one of the reasons for the course being so good, he was never too busy to answer any questions in between lessons and was full of good advice.

Royston was quite far for me to travel being in exeter, but i do know that nick at solutions based in bodmin will be offering training instructed by paul pierce very soon if cornwall is any closer.

As you are from Norfolk, like me.
I will agree with the above. The IICRC course is excellent, and as mention will also count for your training for NCCA, so you only then have to join NCCA, when you can afford it. But it is also the closest course to Norfolk, I have done the NCCA training course and  lots of IICRC courses, and the IICRC are the better course because they are longer.
NCCA is carpets and upholstery in two days, IICRC is two days per subject so 4 days in total.

Looks like you willhave to budget for overnight stays.


Prochem do hold trainining events throughout the Country but I believe the next one are in the Midlands. Chemspec also do regional training.


If you use the search facility on thi site you will find plenty of information on training , equipment, marketing, startups etc
