James you should have contacted us. What part has snapped we may be able to send you a replacement part. The reason we made these lances was because the brass ones on that ebay site are too femma and get snapped in vans easily.

You get what you pay for.

I bought that sprayer from John and for £90 odd quid it's ok and has got a heavy duty lance. However, it won't last that long with daily use and I understand that.

I bought my Gloria 14 years ago and it has just packed up - I'm sure it only needs new seals, but even if it's a write off I think I've had my monies worth.

I have to keep changing this post, you guy are posting to fast.

Hi James and Steve,

Have you used your Airflex for pre spraying yet?
If you have a heater you can put it down HOT without having to replace o rings every 5 mins.
Haven't tried it yet as I need a lance, but I can see it could work well.
Cheers
Rab.

I've only had the Airflex 2 weeks Rob and I've got a love/hate relationship with it.

The 3rd vac is a massive step up from the Ninja and I will soon have to get a glide, plus the solution tank is bigger than the Ninja, so not as much filling and emptying.

BUT, I find packing away a real pain. I can't put my arm in the waste tank to pull out the fluff without knocking off the filter - plus who's bright idea was it to put the waste dump valve above the electric cables.

That coupled with having to make sure it is completely empty, because I have to load it on it's back due to the raised floor on my van is peeing me off at the moment.

Must admit I haven't used the heater yet, I've spent the last week cleaning with nothing but Pure Clean and a cold water rinse just as an experiment and have been getting very good results.

I bought the same one from Alltec but just with the standard lance, cost about 90 odd quid.

To say I aint impressed with it is an understatement ::) The central pump handle (the long bit that goes up and down), bent using under normal conditions. That was after a couple of weeks. I thought buying an 'expensive' one would be a good investment.

The ones I used before this were Matabi and the last one lasted for years. They have a much stronger handle/pump mechanism and are a lot cheaper. Work that one out ;D

So, I bought a new 5ltr one for uph only. Job done.

Hi Steve. Is your feed hose fully down to the bottom of the front of the tank?
The first day mines wasn't and  ended up sucking it out with the hose, now I can judge the water I use, any left I use the priming hose to wash out the waste tank.
The waste pretty much self empty's, not worth tipping back.
I`m surprised how little water it uses compared to my Leakster, I mean Speedster, but that must be a wand/jet thing  ???

Rob

When agitating with the envirodri, I get clumps of waste fibre that won't just empty out, so you've got to get in there and pull it out.

Must admit it's still early days. Don't get me wrong it's a great machine, it's just takes some getting used to after using the same machine day after day for nearly 3 years.

The lance alone can cost you nearly seventy quid at some other suppliers.

Go to 'Solo Sprayers' and this will be a fair bit cheaper than £90.

email contact is Richard: - rjvale@solosprayers.co.uk

We have a few of these, and I have to say they work well and are reliable (touch wood). We have various sizes and attachments and have always bought from Solo Sprayers. They are helpful and offer a great level of after-sales support.

Ian we buy them from Solo. We had so many complaints when we used to sell them with the standard brass lance. They are very weak and easily get snapped in the back of vans. We have modified them with a pressure washer lance which makes the lance virtually indestructable. This lance is the reason for the extra cost.

Had one of these for a few months now , it works really well , and has been very reliable. It looks much  more pro than standing there pumping a sprayer up.

Hi John, fair comment. I do take extra care with ours when loading on to the van.

I have a manual backpack sprayer, again from Solo Sprayers. This cost over £70.

I have to say that using it kills my left arm as it is none stop pumping (one for you innuendo fans).

Afre a couple of consecutive tanks and my arm feels ready to explode. I would struggle to cover very large areas with it, and I have reasonably strong arms. This defeats the object really as I purchased it to speed up spraying over large areas.

A powered on would therefore be great.

That said, this price looks a bit too good to be true (for a long lasting and quality bit of kit). Jason, how much use / abuse has yours had? And how long does it last on one charge.

I  charged it when new , and have used most days since april , I only put 10 litres a time in it , and I  recharged it last week. I do not put it on my back , I just carry it with the handle.

I have the slightly older version it is only a motorbuke battery, pump and relay attached to a switch, so nothing much to go wrong.

This sprayer along with the spray wands supplied with Restomates  sprayers would make the ultimate spraying machine.

John

It was the bracket on the underside of the handle that you turn to tighten it i could not undo the screw fixing to open the container, so i had to force it and that when the bracket on the handle the bit that slots inside the the top of the black tubular insert, it snapped off so i could not open the container,

I inherited an Orion sprayer with my new machine and it does look better quality with pressure guage too but i suppose only time will tell, none of these sprayers have very sturdy metal parts where stress is applied usually when unscrewing to refill   ::)( i disposed of the old bottle, but i have another identical one.
