Vikan is by far the more superior brush,  I have a superlite but have taken it off as the jets keep getting blocked

You're havin a laugh aren't you? There's no comparison. The supalite is far superior.

I've never had blocked jets. Maybe your inline pre pump filter needs changing or something. Vikans are for amateurs!

If you dont mind an ugly brush, then the vikan can be made lighter.

I loved my vikan mono - RIP

i have to say that i found the superlite lacks scrubbing power, but the weight of a vikan
is just no good i reckon it would snap an sl2 at 60 ft!

BUT.....

i found a fab alternative, the pro window dual trim mono - slightly larger and heavier (approx 100g) than the
superlite, but scrubs and cleans frames in an instant. far superior to the superlite.

naa my pumps are fine and work perfectly with the vikans and Ionics double trim,  the sl is an ok brush but it aint got the cleaning ability of the vikan or Ionics double trim and to be honest I dont find weight of the others much of a difference

are you having trouble keeping your pole up with a vikan on it ?

the sl brush is great, very light, can work all day with it, but it has a big drawback on domestic, and that is sills, it just does not get all the dirt of the sills,
so i had to revert back to the vikan sill, i hope alex is still going to manufactur a sill brush,

i have both.

i use the supalite dual trim flocked most of the time and i find it great on regular cleans.i have a supalite mono for dirty first cleans etc.they are nice and light.the mono has already splayed at the edges after 3 weeks though!!

the vikan sill brush(stiff version) is excellent on polycarbon conny roofs/fascias/soffit cleaning and ive a regular rectangle 12in mono vikan that doesnt get used and is a spare.

ive also got a 10in brodex brush which i use on my short downstairs pole.

well said.
vikan brushes are designed for vehicle washing brushes, we use to use them many years ago when i worked delivering grain, good for washing lorries, someone some where stuck some jets in then an said there brushes for wfp, OK they work but heavy,
the super-light was designed for wfp same as tucker brushes, but vikan ain't,
