New to this game!
« on: September 08, 2005, 10:27:59 am »
I have been running a cleaning company for two years, and have finally branched out to window cleaning as there was such a need for it, all my cleaning clients always were looking for window cleaners, so it seemed the obvious step.
I am looking for window cleaners to work for me too..any suggestions of where i might find them? or where any of you get yours from?
Have spoken to a couple of lads on the street, and they are fully booked, couldnt really give me any ideas of where to find anyone, any ideas??

Thanks

Steve

Hi Steve , i think that the problem is with finding them , if you yourself started out working for sombody and had the drive to go out and start up on your own , thus earning more than doing it for an employer , thats how i got going .
I didnt want to see my boss get rich while i did the work .

Maybe thats the answer , who knows ?

Put an ad in job centre for experienced window cleaner, but make sure he shows you he can actually clean them properly, some people will say anythin to get the job, because they think its easy to do, as does most people till they have a go and make a right mess of the winder,so get him to show you on a winder and if he makes a complete hash of it then you know.
