How much
« on: September 08, 2005, 10:13:25 am »
Hi

Still on the learning curve.

Asked to quote a front of bungalow.

Window 1.  24 small panes
Window 2.  32 small panes
Window 3.  32 small panes

88 window panes approx. 9"x9" in size.

Plus 6 panes approx 2'x2' (3 either side of the front door)

Any idea how much I should charge

Thanks

Steve

Hi Steve,

How long do you think it will take to do the work?

Usually, small pains like that, i would charge 25p per pane = £23.50

Hope this helps

Andrew

Thanks guys

Charged £25 and got the job. It was a first clean plenty of cobwebs and dirt, took me and the missus 40 mins from the time we pulled up to the time we drove off.

If it took 2 of you 40 mins without travelling it should be about £30 +travel /
unless you can do it a lot quicker next time .

I don't do small panes - they are a big pain!
