my advice is always to build up an "emergency" fund as a matter of course when self employed.also BUY A TRAD POLE thats long enough for first floor windows if you havent already got one!

that way if its that cold the jets are freezing in the brushes you can still do some work and keep your business ticking over.a little screenwash in your bucket and away you go!!

I have heard it said that a family should have 3-6 months funds put away and that a business should have at least 6 months worth of expenses and wages as equity in the bank.

If you have been a window cleaner for a few years, you should have at least 1 months money saved up for when you cant work.

As for.... BUY A TRAD POLE thats long enough for first floor windows.   Thats a big no unless you wanna lose work. There is NO WAY the quality will be the same as wfp.

ive used trad poles for years bob on first floor windows!i still use it on a couple of cottages on a canal bank.(hard to access even with the trolley!)

you can do an adequate job IMO.

DRY MICROFIBRE IN A CLAMP FOR DETAILING.

GOOD RUBBER ON YA BLADE.

ive had years of practice!i even clean a old wooden georgian house with just a damp microfibre in a clamp on a pole!easy to clean if done every month.

i WFP nearly everything now top and bottoms but its good to know i have ALL the tools in my locker!!
