Its like a flipping epidemic
« on: July 26, 2010, 10:36:49 pm »
Turned up to clean a customers windows today only to be told by a neighbour she died suddenly on Saturday. A nice lady in her early 70s. Seemed healthy enough to me but it turns out she had heart problems although nothing serious.

That must be about the tenth this year. Lost another a few weeks back in the same road a few doors down on the other side.

Well, serious enough to kill her I guess, but apart from that nothing too troublesome.

I don't know that was the cause but I would imagine so

I had nearly every flat in a council OAP complex.  Every winter at least five of them would die.  One autumn I went round and told them all they would have to sign an agreement that they would have to get my permission in writing before dying.

Luckily they all had a sense of humour ;D

Drop them and replace them when they turn 70. It says in the Bible- 3 score years and 10 so you know they`re living on borrowed time. You can`t run a business like that; I do miss the Werthers Originals though  :'(.

If I got rid of all my customers over 70 I would have no round left.

 Not a lot recently  :(.
Lee said any time would do for his mother-in-law popping off. With him being a Villa fan, I meant it would be inconsiderate of her to do so in the middle of a big game; a cup final maybe and you had to leave. Typical m-in-law stuff, having the last laugh.
