thats what i was interested in some figures as you say its an experiment and i just wanted some sort of indication of what to expect from some of you guys who have been experimenting for years, as for the point you make about y/p going purely althabetical from next year the rep i spoke to told me that this is not the case the format is going to change and the dots etc wont work because the listings are going to be randomly generated from a computer this is meant to be starting next month but wont get to my area untill the directory after next so advised me to do the dots for this year.

If you go back to page 10 (a while ago) I posted a reply and supplied a link to YP. If you click on the link and follow the instructions you can read their new policy on Alphabetical listings and print it out in case of a dispute. It is possible that they may not get around to your area in the next edition but they are starting with Northants in April. I would read it and query it with your rep anyway.
