just say to every one you meet on your round that ladder window cleaners will not have proper insurance , and the ones that do are paying top doller for it and will sew at the slightest thing .
this happend to a window cleaner up north who sewed one of his custys for uneven ground when he fell off .works every time this is what i m doing to stop the numpty who is trying to undercut me and take my custys.

Agree ccmids.I also do the same.gets me the work.I say don't get a ladder man as they have no insurance because using ladders are illegal.

How many of you started as a trad window cleaners? for a lot of us thats how we started and slagging other cleaners off is just a good way to make enemies, i know a lot of cleaners around here and will say hello to any of them, theres a lot of dirty windows out there so isnt it better to get cleaning instead of lying?

I use and like trad and pole, they both have their own place and both do a good job.Infact on first cleans wfp takes bloody ages. Seen a house yesterday, glass was spotless but frames were covered in green, sometimes on certain windows that I know will spot I wfp first then wagtail after and wipe frames.

Seems like a waste of time
Why not pre wash the windows and frames and blast off wfp.doesn't take much longer and gets cleaner.

ccmids i wouldnt worry mate.ive had load of guys canvass parts of my round and ive NEVER lost one in 16 years to my knowledge!!

even if you do lose the odd one a doubt itll make much difference to your overall income.

just concentrate on doing a good job,be polite and SMILE!
