CLX22 or CLX27
« on: July 22, 2010, 05:01:36 pm »
Hi all,

Quick question....Is a CLX22 long enough for 2nd floor windows or would the CLX27 be better?    Getting confused by the lengths!!    Don't want to carry extra weight thats not needed but don't want to be too short either  :)

Cheers

If it's any help, apparently you can take sections off. I emailed Gardiners last week and they told me you can slacken the clamps right off, give the section a tug an away you go. You can also buy the appropriate end cap to protect the now exposed pole end.

Thanks Ken.   Yes it makes sense to get the CLX27.  Getting confused because I was originally going to get the SLX25.   Would the CLX27 get to 3rd floor?

Depends on the height of the third floor. You'll be fine with most modern every day houses but on the old ones I've struggled to reach the third floor with a 36 foot pole.
