How can you scratch the sill on a conservatory with a wfp brush, is the sill not made of the same material as the cons frames? you wash frames with wfp so whats the difference.

The sill was probably scratched with the headstock of the brush whereas the windows and frames would generally only come into contact with the bristles.
I put a post up on here yesterday but then took it down as i thought i would visit a couple of Upvc installers/suppliers close to where i was working to see what their answers were.
Just like on here they had differing views on how to get rid of scratches.
One said that you couldn't get rid of them and would i like someone to call around to give a price on a new frame... ;D
Another one said that they do a special cream cleaner that would take slight scratches out up to one mm and would not dull the plastic....£12.99 for the bottle (we pay £1.75 wholesale for the same product  ::))
The last one said that a solvent based product would clean the Upvc before you applied the cream cleaner to take out any miniscule scratches, anything deeper would require renovation using specialist waxes and laquers.
This is the way that we go,we use konigs renovation products. We have been on the training courses,so before you take any advice and rush into doing something that may damage the area irrepariably take a further look into manufacturers recommended renovation techniques, spend some time and money on the correct procedures and then use it as an add on service to your existing business.
There was also another company that i visited who couldn't be bothered to help me....their customer service is something to be desired... ;D

Same way as some scratch glass,

Vision tech have you seen some wfp operators work it is as no suprise that glass and cills get scratched,

I have gone to customers houses and to be honest some of the scratches are shocking,

They sure is a lot of wfp cowboys about thinking it is easy, to interested in how many they can do in a day rather than doing the job right and carefully and building speed up as you go along,

Trouble is some have spent thousands on a new system and target 30+ houses a day because that is what they have been told that they can do, so because of what they have spent on their systems they need to do 30+houses a day,
But what they should be told that it takes time to reach 30+ a day to do them right,

I really do feel for some of the newbie wfp cleaners who have spent a lot of money on systems and been given bad advise,

I have one around where i work he used his redundancy to start up and was rushing around doing houses and was leaving a right mess, Was losing customers fast, I went out with him for a few days to show him how to do it and have went round his house for a couple of hours at night,  i gave him some advice to slow down and do it right and speed will come, That was 2 months ago he is still working and building up speed but was so close to packing it all in,

He took advice of another cleaner who had no experience himself,Thing is this almost cost him his marriage as he used almost all his redundancy to pay for the system,
A bit of topic i know but are you really suprised that glass and cills get scratched with a lot of newbies only having a days traning with a mate it wil keep on happening!

It sounds dodgy to me; maybe someone in the past has used one of those green scrubber things and scratched the sills; then you've come along and cleaned with WFP; and the customer has put two and two together and come up with a load of nuts.
