It's the same seller James bought the "infamous" Airflex off.

Hi Guys

This is at least the third time he has listed this at the same price, you'd think he'd learn!!

I just dont think these bits of kit are worth that sort of money secondhand, he bought it inc the vat which has gone off to the Treasury so you can take 17.5 % off and another 40& for being secondhand no warranty etc.

Not worth more than 900, poss 1000.

Cheers

Nooooooo Clinton.

I had one on demo from Nick for a week.
It is a great machine, cleans very well and leaves the carpet dryer then my wanding, which I reckon was pretty dry anyway.
But the tool was not for me - but may well be very suited to someone else..

Hi Guys

If he's sold it for 1250 why does he still have an ebay listing for 1400 (starting), he's either not telling the truth or running a fraudelent auction i.e selling something he doesn't have.

or....... its not sold until money is in his hand (which is not a bad way at all).

If a deal has been struck outside of ebay, then maybe he is following that course of "hedging his bets"

Hi Joe

If you accept an offer even verbally you have a contract to sell, that's the law!

He should withdraw his listing.

I agree Doug,
but
if the buyer (who you have a verbal contract with) doesnt turn up with the cash you havent got a sale - and dont tell me you pursue him thro the courts.

I would keep ebay running until cash was in my hand, then pull the plug on ebay.  In this case ebay has days to run, if the guy comes with cash on Sunday thats fine, just stop ebay.
