ive got one and ive had it 2 weeks!i changed the pole hose and put a supalite brush on the end.seems fine but clamps seem a bit flimsy!

have you been cleaning it out regularly?and clean the pole hose at the end of your working day?

better phone gardiners and order  a slx or clx.you ll have to wait a bit for it though.

im hoping i get a year at least out of mine!i think some guys have had theirs for years!!

i suppose it depends on how often and whether you take care of it!

if its jammin it prob just needs a good flush out with water and maybe a few new clamps gluing on then itll be like a brand new pole!! ;) ;D ;D ;D

Had the 7, 18 & 25 for about 4 months now.

I've araldited the clamps on, changed the hose on the 18 & 7 and stuck a new brush on my 18.

Perfect now !

I can't see the slx being any better for you unless it gets cleaned regularly (which i don't!) But i have same issues with the slx, poles jamming, clamps snapped (Been ok for a while though) and worse of all BLACK HANDS  :(
But saying all that I love it and will be buying another one when this one knackered (unless something better turns up).
If i cleaned it regularly it would obviously stop the jamming, as i assume it would with your brodex?

If you contact brodex they will ship you a replacement pole. I have had the same problem with the two I bought and they have already replaced one of them

Yes they replaced mine no questions asked, they were 6mths old. Spoke to one of their guys at one of the shows and he said just phone up and they will ship a new bare pole out.

Shame they don't just use better clamps surely it would be much cheap in the long run than keep sending out new poles every few months.
