small vacuum attachment for getting in tiny spaces
« on: July 09, 2010, 01:10:47 pm »
wondering if anyone can suggest a tool that i can attach the my vacuum (henry) that will allow me to vacuum in small spaces? i mean places like behind a radiator that small. the crevice tool is good but so short that i can only get behind it as much as it can reach as the rest of the pole then stops it going further.

Do you mean actually behind a radiator that hangs on the wall?

If so you can purchase a long thin radiator duster... then vacuum up the bits that fall on the floor.

Something like this,

There are other types. I have one thats bendy on a wire very good. You local suppliers should have one.

Dusting it would be more thorough than vacuum behind.

thanks pristine for suggestion but i should have been clearer. i need it to fit in spaces as small as like behind a radiator, but not to actually go behind the radiator because as you say it wont be as good. i use a tool that sounds like the one you use which i find works great for rads.

one example of where we could do with this tool is in one of the offices we do between their desk and under desk cabinet there is a small gap with a lot of crumbs and dirt which i can't stand seeing. i can't move any of the furniture so thought perhaps there is a tool that'll attach to the vac that will solve this problem
