The trials of the carpet cleaner
« on: July 08, 2010, 05:51:22 pm »
Got this one booked in next week...Note how it says no chemicals, when i was sussing the job out over the phone i asked if they had tried anything on the stains,"oh yes, just about everything" still didn`t come out though !! Even though i scrubbed it like mad, carpet has gone all fluffy, and some of the loops pulled out !!!   :'(

Hi We would like our carpet cleaned please - 4 largeish rooms - the carpet is a wool mix with loops in it so is a bit difficult to scrub - also I have 2 toddlers on it all the time so would prefer not to use chemicals to clean it

Some folk aren't right in the head... I did this one carpet and the woman was adamant that I used an eco friendly solution.... At the end she complained as there was a wet carpet smell ??? She insisted I used one of my deoderisers... "They are chemical based, far from eco friendly!" I informed her....

"It'll be right!" She said..... Odd ball!!!! ;D

 ;D You got there first.
To be honest you'd have to look long and hard to find a carpet cleaning liquid/powder could be classified as dangerous/unhealthy.
If I get a job that requires 'hard stuff' then I use it because they want results and yet the customer remains totally unaware. Or to put it another way I've yet to get a call afterwards with a complaint of the household have all been hospitalised :D

Good call I also boosted MP/Nemisis at 10ml per litre with a premium/hd splitter at 25-1, did an awful poly yesterday and it worked a treat. Rinse with an acidic rinse. Take plenty of photo's before you start and put it plainly in writing before you start.

Tried fusion8 on some upholstery Monday, super results.

BTW if your gut says run listen to it ;D

I'm very green, my pre-spray in non-Biological and even has a Baby on the box.
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.
