hi i have just changed my membranes and prefilter on my merlin RO ,but the tds is running at about 135 and has been for last half hour ,it does say rinse for 2 hours if using for drinking water ..does anyone know how long it should take to get it to run properly ,it used to give me a tds of 7 or 8 but lately it has been running at 10,11,12 13 thats why i changed them..Help Please

Not sure but when I changed mine a couple of the rubber seals pinched while fitting so had a higher reading ( keep the o rings from your old membranes they might come in handy) I also used ptfe tape at the top of the membrane to make it a tighter fit, down to about 23 now not great but better.

Thanks for that mike G two hours are now up and its still 120 something ..so i have pulled it all apart and yes one split O ring..all is well now tds of 5 thanks again ..toprung

5 thats good, what reading is your water before the merlin?
