id show up 2days late with excuse about the weather. then be on time the next time/ then 3 days late ,after a while she will get used to the fact you are never on time exactly.
I do about 6 4/5 bed houses on a estate, most think every 4 weeks is too soon so I just work them in when it suits me and they're happy, but one customer wants them done every 4 weeks to the day, I'd have to go there just for that one and I don't think she'll pay any more, so should I deal or no deal? What would you do?
Explain to her that you are trying to keep her price down by sheduling her house with all of her neighbours. To go and do hers on its own will cost you more in fuel, time, set up etc. If it really is an inconvenience to you to do it on its own charge enough to remove the convenience. Always make your customers believe that everything you do is for their benefit only. Its something I learnt from Richard Bransons book and I always bear that in mind. Valuable lesson!Adie
