Additional pump
«

I'm looking to add an additional pump, reel etc to my van.
I'm currently running the pump from the van battery (which is heavy duty)
would the battery be man enough for two pumps ?

yes.
you can work out the amp hour draw.
your battery: 90ah 120ah etc.
your pump: Shurflo 100psi 7ah(max flow) x2 pumps (14ah)
times how long you work: 7hrs a day
total: 49ah (1 pump) 98ah (2pumps)
thats is for MAX flow of your pump, we dont ever need to use 5ltrs/min with 1 pole. usually 1.5-2ltrs min. The ah draw will be roughly 50% less.
a 120ah battery should then give you 2days work.
