Not seen it yet,but another company have looked at it and walked,saying  they can`t clean it ,it`s a 6 seat corner unit,in what i can make from her description,is faux suede ,now i have wet cleaned these in the past with good results,but i am a bit concerned someone has walked ?
I have changed my upholstery technique ,and i only lightly mist the fabric,dry passes,then terry towel it off.
Will do some tests and see what happens,they did call me this morn and postpone me,then half hour later,called back and re booked,in that time i had booked another quote in.

check the reverse mark, if you can't do that, silly as this may sound, breath through the fabric think about it

Newbuck does not like moisture at all...very tricky to clean...can work out very expensive if you get it wrong

For the purpose of this explanation I have used the word leather and before someone sets off on one, the word is only used to explain the total differences

Faux suade is a man made fibre made to look like a leather.
Nubuck is a leather.
Need I say more

My sister in Italy has a Nubuck suite and i cleaned it for her last time i was over there (2 years ago)

Yeah, Nubuck defo is not a fake suede! lol (faux is french for fake or imitation or false )

My prefered method is a vacuum cleaner and a stiff brush used at the same time. The results from just this can sometimes be good enough.
After that if needed spray with M/S brush in leave for 10 minutes then microfibre cloth off with clean water. That's not to say you can't hwe but drying times can be a mare if you do.

Won`t go near it if it`s nubuck, i mist now from a few inches away with the hand tool,getting the same results,dry in a fraction of the time,just not got much in the tank to show the custy after

even if its nubuck why dont you just  find out how to clean it and then just do it if it turns out to be that when you go to see it.

I can never understand why people walk away form jobs when were in the specialized cleaning business, its another customer and more money, dont throw it away just learn how to do it !

I can honestly say i've never walked away from a job in my life, ( unless it  was beyond help of course   )

If i dont know how to do something then i just find out and go and do it,  nothing is that difficult when it comes to cleaning,  you just need to know the method for the piece your working on.

you clean nubuck with a tool like a suede brush and 'pad' it with a special sticky pad to pull the dirt out, don't wet it,

Will see tomorrow,but yes i do need to start looking into other add ons ,plaster boarded a wall in our kitchen,and plastered it the other week,builder said i have the knack,to get a finish like that

Just got back,it wasn`t Nubuck,but i did a small test patch,and the dye transfer was unreal,turned my white towel brown,even after drying off.
So said sorry,but not prepared to risk cleaning it,it was huge too,good 3 hrs work there

Hwe microfibre no probs.  Use pureclean.  Did one yesterday and was dry when I left  (did carpets afterwards)

Just towel it down afterwards.

Honestly,i have enough work coming in to not need the hassle,would much rather clean carpets than faff around with this one,too many cushions,even had tube type head rest things.
ended up doing 2 jobs for the new agency today,all very professional,even had printed off work order sheets,made my job much easier,having all the info,have got me down as one of their contractors on the system.Well happy !!
When i first started up,i went round all the letting agents ,suited and booted,cover letter etc etc,nothing from any of them.
