I know this might sound a daft question from a seasoned
Experienced professional but how often would you say in
General do you change and put a new strip washer sleeve/
Pad on your `T`bar handle ?
Also whats usually the main reason for you to actually
Change it

i.e. Wear n`tear, torn ,looking `dowdy`or what

A new one every time it gets dirty! That must be expensive...  

I change mine once it starts to become ineffective Lewis. Normally once it starts to wear thin in spots and doesn't seem to get the hardened grime off.

Surely you've got more than 1 sleeve? 1 being used and one in the wash.

I have 4 which are used on a rotation basis. I haven't renewed any covers in the last 18 months.

I have been using my Ettore on my `Back-Flip`for what seems
An age now.It feels and looks oaky when I take it off the `T`bar
But when I`m scrubbing etc.it just seems to be,,well difficult to
Explain really,it`s why I first wrote the e,mail.
Anyways I`ve put my new Sorbo Yellow sleeve on and there seems
To be much more `guts`to it.There`s some `give`,can`t feel the plastic
`T`bar beneath the strip washer.
The Ettore must be worn much more than looks like.

i have 4 in the van at anyone time.i put one in the wash every week with my sill cloths and microfibres.

if ive got a few very dirty first cleans to do then i change sleeve afterwards if the strip washer is filthy!

i bung the sleeves in the bin when they wear thin at the ends.

Porcupine for 1 st cleans and 3 others which get changed when there dirty

I change mine after £10,000 worth of work.

Don’t know if you’re having a laugh, but that’s a very good way, if not the best way to decide when to replace equipment.
