Just wondering if anyone writes to there new customers after quoting and getting the "go ahead" from them?

if so what sort of things to you write to them apart from welcoming them onboard.
Dave.

Dear Mrs Custie,

Welcome aboard the good ship that is Malc Gold window cleaning! Thank you for choosing our services. You are in for a steady if somewhat "choppy" voyage.

With our preach and wash system you can have shiny panes and frames and save your soul at the same time! A free home bible study is available and we can send round a couple of slightly off-beat geezers in cheap suits (or gals with fixed staring "Stepford" smiles) on a Tuesday afternoon who will explain Daniel's prophecy to you in a way that will make the writing on the wall at Belshazzar's feast seem like a mere conjuring trick!

Our new simplified service has no ladders, vicars, or collection plates but a dozen sovs will go down well to cover the cost of sending me out again to clean your windies next month.

If you want your conny roof done we can send Graeme pureclean with his fire and brimstone approach which will wipe out the klingons for you in no time.

Yours in the lord,

Goldilocks windie cleanies.

/\ Something like that?

 ;D

Seriously - Souter's is very good.
It's a game of three halves!

Dear Customer

Thank you for entrusting us with the cleaning of your windows. We trust you will be happy with the service we provide.  To ensure you get the best service from us, please take a moment to read this.

Company Outline

George started cleaning windows in 1992 with some ladders and a van and the business has grown steadily over the years, we now have five squads and clean over 3000 homes in the Aberdeenshire area, as well as schools and offices.

We don’t do anything else other than clean windows. We don’t fight fires, work offshore, do gardens or building. We just clean windows professionally

Technology

We invested in purified water cleaning technology in 2005 as a safety measure (no more ladders) but, in our experience in using this technology we are confident it is a better system for cleaning windows as it ensures the frames are cleaned.

The system works by pumping purified water to a brush head on a telescopic pole. When we clean your windows we clean the frames and the vents as well as the glass, this means your windows stay cleaner for longer leaving your house looking smarter.

Your windows will be left wet: This is normal!

The First Clean

The first time we clean your windows we must ensure that all the engrained dirt and dried detergent are removed.  Depending on the type and quality of the windows, they may need cleaned twice.

Please check your windows once they have dried and if there are any marks on them we will come back and re clean them FREE OF CHARGE.

Once we have got rid of the engrained detergent they will dry perfectly.
In the winter when there is any danger of frost we squeegee all paths and steps, to remove any water and either grit or salt them.
Complaints Procedure

Every clean that we do is guaranteed, if you are at all unhappy with the standard of your windows please phone 01467643487 within 3 days of and we will be happy to come back and re-clean them.

If you have any other complaints with our service please phone us immediately! The business is built on quality service.

WE NEED TO KNOW IF WE ARE DOING SOMETHING WRONG SO WE CAN SORT IT

Payments

Most of are customers are not normally in when we clean their windows. There are a number of ways which you can pay your bill if you are out when we call round.

We will leave your bill with a stamped addressed envelope every time we come round and you can simply pop a cheque with your bill in the post. If you prefer to manage your bills online we can take payments via internet banking. The details for this are available on request. Alternatively you can pay your bill by card via the telephone (01467643487).

Payment is expected within 30 days.

All going well we will be back to clean your windows on, or around:

We will then return around the same date every month.

Thanks for taking the time to read this we value your custom.

Regards

George + Stuart Souter
