contract cleaning advice
« on: June 30, 2010, 03:25:15 pm »
hi all i recently been contacted by a management company regarding a quote for a block of flats .i'm doing some contract cleaning at the moment but smalish offices.so i'm in need of some advice please.the block is a 3 storey one,14 flats in total,on each floor the main hallway is leading to other 2 but smallers. .they want the communal area cleaned weekly and outside windows quarterly .the inside of the communal area is carpeted so i believe at some point they will want the carpets cleaned, which we cover just need to discuss the frequency.
i'm not sure what exactly they expect from the weekly clean.i think is basically hoovering ,cleaning the front door in+out ,the inside of the window sills.they're no skirting boards.i'm not sure about the items the tenants are leaving on the hallway like tv's and bins ,furniture?i don't think there is my problem but any advice will be nice .i personally think it's about 30-45 min work to be done every week.
thank you

Hi,

We charge a minimum of 2 hours.

Is there a place, cupboard to leave vacuum cleaner, polish etc.. if increase the price a little as the cleaner has the inconvenience of carrying the equipment in and out of car. You would also require a car driver if they need to carry the equipment.

Ask them what it is they want done specifically and give them your advice. Be confident.
