never mind,  how many are going to take the hit, or pass it on,

i can see a rise in dodgy window cleaners, as to make a living in this business is getting stupidly expensive

i missed that one that is good corporation tax for small businesses from 21% to 20 % thats good if you are limited!

vat threshold still 68 0000
personal tax limit now 7400 before tax

so imo if you stay sole trading or small business below vat threshold you will have a good little business especially if limited

also if you are on flat rate vat its alot less like 11% i think so charging at 20 % will make you money

also i dont see that 2.5 % rise is gonna end any contracts the majority claim it back anyway

or take the hit for 2.5 % i think you will manage

no vat is going up to 20 % in january,  so think there might be a few commercial contracts being ended after xmas,  as i think a lot of non vat wc will be plugging it

The result of this change for me is that I am now definately going to get myself a van system before the vat rate goes up.

But which one to get, oh my lord what a nightmare, too much choice and I don't have a clue.

Charging vat to bigger companies has no affect on them whatsoever,

When you are vat registered you are just playing the middle man for the government,

There's no way a small non vat registered window cleaning company can undercut a vat registered window cleaning company on large commercial jobs citing they're ''vat free''unless the payment is in cash, otherwise there would be no benefit to the client at all and any benefit would be illegal,
