Hi all

Does anyone have a service manual for a Numatic/Henry they can share please?

A couple of mine are starting to sputter a bit and I thought I'd give them a tune up.

Cheers

Diane

Hi Diane

Try http://www.numatic.co.uk/products4.aspx?id=1

they have got manuals that you can view and print in PDF on the numatic website under homecare - choose the make and then go to documents.

I hope that helps

Hi Diane,

What do you mean by a bit of a tune up?

Provided the bags are no more than 2/3 full and the hoses and filtres are clear they should not splutter. The brushes may need changing depending how long the vacuums have run for, but you would need to contact Numatic with the serial number/model of the machine because they have used different motors over the years.

Their tech support has been quite friendly and helpful in the past and will advise you further. Consider getting a PAT test if you do any electrical work youself, otherwise you may invalidate your insurance.

Good luck

Mike

Thanks for the tips everyone and Mike I will definitely get them re PAT tested.

I just thought it wouldn't hurt to service the things and as I have 20 of em I don't particularly want to pay someone to do it when I'm perfectly capable of learning how myself.

I'll contact numatic and see if they can advise.

Cheers
