Shower clean.
« on: June 17, 2010, 10:33:48 am »
Can anyone gives me some good tips on cleaning a glass shower enclosure? It's covered in lime scale. My business focuses on window cleaning, but I'm not sure shower glass is any different as such, and if I can use the same mineral deposit remover.

Tips please,

Thanks!

Yes it is just the same but remember you have to consider the run off - plastic trays, carpets, seals etc. Some descalers will remove the gold on the drain fittings. Do a search as products people use have been covered many times

mdr works great but i'd recommend getting the bulk of it off first with something like harpic power plus toilet cleaner. as BDCS mentioned when cleaning showers you have to consider the run off. harpic will destroy and stainless steal in little to no time so be very careful if you use this. mdr is great as it's fairly thick and from what i've seen doesn't damage anything

Okay, I think I will just use MDR, and make sure it doesn't stain anything.

Thanks guys. :)
