other forms of marketing
« on: June 13, 2010, 12:39:34 pm »
We do large (and costly) leaflet drops around the areas we cover year round and it works very well.

I am thinking of having an exhibition stand made so we can go to our local shoping centres and town centres handing out leaflets and signing people up. I want to know if any of you have every done this or something like this?

What did you do?
How much did it cost?
What were the results?

Thanks guys

Hi lee,

Can't answer your question, but a cheap way to test the water is go to a boot sale, pastle table, covered with your info, some leaflets and posters, maybe offering special offer for "brand new customers" we are plannign to do one of these soon, and I think it would probably work!

Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience

a friend of mine uses beer mat marketing
he prints up say 10000 at a time and distributes them free to bars and restaurants cafes
then does not have the expense of delivering
works well for him

also today at our local market
there were trade stands offering
florida holiday homes some dodgy rug cleaning product  double glazed windows aa and sky and aerials
the market co charge 60 quid a pitch

We used this in Bulgaria, both for selling equipment and marketing to new window cleaning customers. It worked a treat!

I aren't - not in any way shape or form. I only used to import and sell some of their stuff in Bulgaria, whilst I lived and worked over there.
